Santa Claus is coming to town...AND WE GOT TO SEE HIM!

This morning we decided to bravely venture out in the rain and snow to see Santa. We drove to the mall, jumped on the train and went to Santa's Workshop at President's Park. Inside Santa's workshop we got to see presents, elves, a train, letters to Santa and of course the big guy himself! Josh wasn't too sure about sitting on his lap but after some coaxing from me he sat on his lap and said, "choo, choo train please" they took his picture (we got a free 5x7) then Josh hopped down and sweetly said "Merry Christmas" Santa then leaned over and gave Josh a hug wishing him Merry Christmas and a sweet I love you. It was a great experience! Thanks Val and Sophia for braving the freezing, cold weather with us!

My crazy monkeys

The Saturday after Thanksgiving we went to the park for a picnic. It was freezing so we played fast and ate even faster but enjoyed our time together. We loved having Cory home for a few days and Josh wouldn't let his Daddy out of his sight.

Knoxville, Tennessee

Josh and I got to go with Cory to Knoxville for an interview he had a few days before Thanksgiving. We had a great time and loved the city! The World's Fair park with the convention center behind (that's what the ball looking building is). The World's Fair was held in Knoxville in 1982.
The view from our hotel window. This is actually the back of the art museum and is right by the World's Fair park.
Josh and Cory hanging out at a gas station on the way home. It was a long drive but Josh did great! He watched movies, ate snacks, and played. He was an angel.

Josh and Abby

Josh has a little friend, Abby, who is about a month older than him. They love to get together and play! One day as Abby's mom, Karen, and I were following them around outside they decided it would be fun to sit in this doorway. Well, I saw a cute photo in the making so I ran to grab my camera and was able to get a few shots before they moved on to their next adventure.

Family Pics

We took advantage of the nice weather we've been having here and headed out behind our apartment on Saturday afternoon to take some family pictures. We even took them ourselves!

Halloween

This year for Halloween I bought Josh a super cute dragon costume from Old Navy. Well, he had other ideas about dressing up. He cried and cried when I made him try it on. I felt bad making him wear it so I took it back. I came across some Buzz Lightyear and Woody pajamas and thought they would be perfect for a costume. He wore the Buzz PJ's to our ward Halloween party and the Woody PJ's for a Halloween party we went to on Halloween. Josh thought that trick-or-treating was the coolest thing ever! He followed all the older kids around and went to every house they did. He ended up with more than enough candy. After trick-or-treating we headed back to our friends' house for a fun party and amazing food. Thanks Tyson and Alyson for a great time!
I took tons of pics but they are not on my card so I am hoping they are on the other computer and not totally lost.
